Christopher J. Osorio
Chris Osorio serves as interim president and CEO of Learning Point, giving Mark Christensen time to focus on content creation and new product development. Chris oversees company strategy, business development, business operations, strategic alliances, and overall good common sense.
Prior to joining Learning Point, Chris served as president of Human Performance Institute (HPI), a highly successful training and consulting firm based in Lake Nona, Florida. While in his role, HPI went from $3 million to over $13 million in annual sales. More importantly, Chris provided essential leadership and business acumen during a very critical time in HPI’s growth as a firm. He was also very instrumental in the sale of HPI to Johnson and Johnson.
Chris has more than 30 years of experience in business leadership and a masters degree in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University. He spent the first decade of his career in the investment banking business as a senior partner, general principal, author, and speaker. In 1988 he joined the Covey Leadership Center, at the time a new and emerging training and development firm. He spent the next decade with the Covey Leadership Center as a senior consultant, presenter, and facilitator. He also filled a variety of leadership roles as the firm, now Franklin-Covey, grew from $3 million to over $500 million in revenue.
Since joining Learning Point, Chris has provided necessary energy, wisdom, and focus which is translating to higher value for our clients and associates.
Chris and his wife, Pam, reside in San Diego, California. They are the proud parents of five children and six adorable grandchildren.
